Quitting cable is tedious. As part of the bigger AT&T Cable Quitting campaign, we made an Alexa skill that quits for you.

Identity, Art Direction → 2018

The campaign itself targets frustrated cable customers. This interactive experience, in collaboration with North Kingdom, teaches them how to easily and quickly cut the cord.

Visualizing a Prompt

We’ve all used Amazon’s Alexa. Whether to get a quick temp update or to turn off the living room lights, all you have to do is speak it into existence.

When exploring visual representations for social channels, I naturally thought of a simple sound wave flowing in a natural, conversational way—how you normally would ask Alexa.

The result was a flowy type treatment that echoed a user’s command.

Logotype + Mark

To tie everything up, I created a simple and recognizable logo mark for multiple applications—for social, web and various other use cases.

The quitting process

To illustrate how easy quitting can actually be, we created a spot showing Alexa coaching you through the quitting process with meditative breathing and playful reminders on why you should have quit cable years ago.

Just say, “Alexa, help me quit cable” and the skill will navigate those infamous phone trees to connect you directly to the right cable representative.
